About Dr. Sam Goldberger

 
 
Doctor Goldberger is a Board Certified Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. He specializes in diseases and surgery of the eyelids, orbits, lacrimal (tear drainage) system, and face. Because of his training in both plastic surgery and ophthalmology, he particularly understands the functional as well as cosmetic aspects of treating the complex and delicate tissues surrounding the eyes. Patients seek his services for cosmetic surgery, congenital abnormalities, trauma, tumors, and aging changes.  

Doctor Goldberger received his undergraduate degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He completed his internship at the Beth Israel Medical Center, residency in ophthalmology at the White Memorial Medical Center, and fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Toronto. Doctor Goldberger is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Southern California School of Medicine and Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles. He is a member of the craniofacial team at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He has authored scientific papers, a book chapter, and served as a reviewer for national scientific journals.
